First Client for HolidayMaker Goes Live
The new tourist industry system from TraviAustria and the Bremen-based IT company Partners Software, ‘HolidayMaker’ has just succeeded in winning its first client: Austrian internet portal Sato Tours, based in Vienna, has opted for the B2C version of HolidayMaker. The catalogue data are supplied by Interactive CMS (Pisano Holding).
“We decided to go live with HolidayMaker because it is the most up-to-date and innovative solution available on the market,” explained Michael Martinek, Managing Director of the Sato Tours portal. With its innovative search and booking logic, HolidayMaker (distributed under the name Tourport in Germany) differs sharply from the competition from other tourist industry booking systems.
Fast and efficient: HolidayMaker lets customers make online bookings of package tours over the web – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Travellers simply pull up the information they want over the internet – and once they locate the offers they want on the website of their preferred travel agency, they are just a few clicks away from their dream holiday. They can also access information about the weather, hotel descriptions including images, and detailed hotel evaluations.
“The high-quality design and numerous intelligent features of the system make searching for and booking offers a simple and uncomplicated process for travellers, without taking away the usual service element provided by the travel agency,” TraviAustria Managing Director Bernhard Wegscheider explained. “Traveller then receive their travel documents, including insider tips, from the travel agency itself, where the processing and ticketing are also carried out.”
