Martin Baumgartner Appointed as New Marketing and Sales Manager at TraviAustria

Martin Baumgartner (42) has been the new Marketing and Sales Manager at IT service provider TraviAustria since 1 February 2010.

The new member of the TraviAustria management team was born in Lower Austria, and is a manager with wide-ranging experience in the IT and telecommunications sector. After holding a series of successful management positions in sales, project management and customer support with companies including Motorola, One and Hutchison 3G, his most recent post was in the Business Development sector with American company RightNow/primeone. As TraviAustria General Manager Bernhard Wegscheider explained, “We are very pleased to be able to welcome Martin Baumgartner, a manager with extensive experience in the business and end-customer sector, onto our team. The move will allow us to provide exactly the right services to support the success of our customers.”

Baumgartner’s position means he is responsible for the Customer Support and Product Development sectors, as well as Marketing and Sales. As he emphasised: “The chance to continue strengthening our position as the Austrian partner to our customers in Austria and the surrounding countries together with my motivated and competent team is a hugely exciting task for me.”
